It is located on CD1, in the Tools\Nosuprt\Vpscan folder

More info at Symantec KB document 2002100907421648 and 2002121010445048

Note: In most environments Vpscan does not work as expected,
but does not show any error. So you should always test Vpscan

  • Norton Antivirus 2001 and 2003 / Norton Antivirus v7.0 and v9.0

    Virusscanner:

    Custom

    Executable:

    NAVW32.EXE

    Arguments:

    <FILE> /NORESULTS

All other settings like that Norton should process all files or
that it should scan zip files can be set in the
Manual Scanning
section within the GUI.

Note: Make sure you disable boot sector scanning or
else Norton will scan the boot sector for every mail attachment
and that slows the processing of the emails.

Note: The install program of Norton 2003 refuses to install on a server,
because it would violate the license.
